Last Wednesday, (30th Oct) G Ode had the privilege of attending an incredible panel discussion ‘In Sex, Education Matters’ with Cindy Gallop’s @makelovenotporn, hosted by the brilliant Emma Lousie Boyton, alongside Jameela Jamil and Freddie Feltham.
It was a fundraiser for @makelovenotporn as Cindy continues to inspire us to build the world we want to live in. We were very glad to support, as people sipped on G Spot drinks and heard about the importance of proper sex education in the global plight to end rape culture.
Freddie spoke with incredibly moving honesty about being a Gen Z male today, and Jameela spoke about the importance of defining your personal sexual values, access to sex education and crucially, the significance of supporting trailblazers like Cindy Gallop in changing the narrative for future generations.
For G Ode, good sex education goes hand in hand with being able to understand, embrace and enjoy your inner desires. Especially in a world that still sees the notion of fantasy and desire as a taboo, when it's actually one of the main keys to unlocking our sense of self.
